HERBAL FOOT SOAK INSTRUCTIONS

1. Choose a basin: Use a container large enough to accommodate both your feet and deep enough to cover your ankles.

2. Prepare the medicinal infusion: Bring 2-3 quarts of water to a boil in a large pot. Place 10 grams (2 tablespoons) of herbal powder into the pot, turn heat to low, cover, and simmer gently for 10 minutes.

3. Reduce the infusion to proper soaking temperature: Take your foot soak basin and add 3-4 quarts of room temperature water. Add the hot infusion to the water in the basin and stir thoroughly. Larger basins may require more water, smaller basins may require less.

4. Confirm the soak temperature is between 100-110 degrees using a thermometer: THIS IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT FOR THOSE WITH IMPAIRED SENSATION IN THEIR EXTREMITIES TO AVOID BURNING THE FEET.

5. Sit down and soak for 20-40 minutes.

6. Maintain the soak temperature throughout the soak by adding more hot water as needed. Remove your feet from the basin when adding hot water, and confirm the temperature before putting feet back in the soak.

NOTE: herbal infusion may stain light colored fabrics.
